Judas

I was just doing my routinely Lady Gaga google search, when BOOOM! I was struck by a ray of excitement, i was paralyzed from the fingers down. I didn't know the music video for Judas came out already! I was going to click on it, but i forced myself to wait the tedious 90 seconds for my popcorn to get ready:



The only part of this video i didn't really enjoy was the 0:35 seconds you had to wait for the song to actually start! I was shaking with excitement for 35 seconds, popcorn in lap, just waiting. However, after that 0:35 seconds my life had become __ that much better.

Here's another installment of: Normal, Teenage, and Fashion part of my brain....

NORMAL PART OF MY BRAIN:

• Congrats Gaga! You have more clothes on than usual! (except the bathtub scene..tsk tsk)
• Those few closeups she had while being in Queen character were breathtaking!
• I don't know why, but i enjoyed the biblical characters being converted into motorcycle men.
• I'm so sorry, but did she say, "ew" at 3:23?
• I'm really enjoying these longer-than-usual music videos. They have so much more character behind them.
• The only thing i didn't really understand about this video was the period from 3:45 - 4:18. If anyone could be so kind as to explain that, i would be a very happy camper.

14 TEENAGE BOY SIDE OF MY BRAIN:

• Lady Gaga has such a good body! I've never really noticed that till this music video.
• That bath-house scene was mighty provocative. . . .
• I'm not sure if I'm liking the Gaga-in-black-jumpsuit with the over sized beret thing.
• What is up with motorcycle now-a-days? Super Bass. . . Judas. . . whats next?
• Another thing i really didn't understand, 5:04 to 5:14, why were they throwing rocks at gaga? While she was in a....wedding dress?
• Although the normal side of my brain didn't like the 35 seconds at the beginning, my teenage side did. Its a nice introduction to the video.

FASHION SIDE OF MY BRAIN:

• OK, well the fashion director for Judas was Nicola Formichetti! He did such an amazing job.
• The Leather motorcycle jackets that were worn were by Haus Of Gaga, in collaboration with Tom Tom.
• I'm just really happy that Gaga incorperates so much Fashion into her videos, it makes them so much more interesting.
• My favorite piece in this entire video was the purple catsuit she wore while on the motorcycle. I was pleasantly surprised when i was told that it was by Mugler~
• I'm not sure if you remember the Dream i had, but i was basically cape filled. I have this weird....not obsession, but lust for capes And i was so happy that Gaga wore the hooded cape by Ayumi Shibata for Slow.
• Velvet bra and panties by Perry Meek/Haus of Gaga, way to keep it classy!

Overall, i really did enjoy watching this video, and i predict that i will watch it many, many (many) more times.
